My nephew loves to exclaim "I did it!" and that is our theme of the day.
Mom and I got in late last night after two long but smooth flights. We got to our lodge (beautiful!) around 11pm but didn't get to bed until 1am after repacking for safari. I think adrenaline was running high as well.
This morning we overslept a bit (still learning new alarm clock-oops!) but had a good breakfast and a very good shower. It's warm and muggy so the shower already feels like a distant memory.
Our friends are coming to pick us up for tea and lunch in a few minutes and then we fly to the Serengeti this afternoon. Computer here is slow and keyboard is sticky so will keep this short and post more from Peace House in a couple of days.
